I had it to coming to me.
Someone spoofed my Marketing Masterpiece Theatre series of dramatic readings from influential business books. That someone is Jay Ehret from The Marketing Spot. Assuming the pompous persona of Sir Stamford Albert Winchester II, Jay reads from TRIBAL KNOWLEDGE.
I’m amused. Nice goin’ Jay. (Thanks.)
Thanks for the good humor, John. You always have the best ideas, the ones I wish I would create. So I just have to steal them.
The thing is, Tribal Knowledge really is a great book. Reading it spawned several ideas that I incorporated into my business. Both I and Sir Stamford Albert Winchester, give it a thumbs up.

FYI ... it was always my plan to do a spoof Marketing Masterpiece Theatre reading from TRIBAL KNOWLEDGE. The setup would have positioned the books as an "inconsequential business book."
Jay, I'm glad you and S.A.W. saw my biz book helpful as more influential than inconsequential. Thanks.

This is hilarious. I want more; more spoofs and another book from John?

Lola ... thanks for asking ... yes, there will be another "book" from me. Sometime in 2010. I've been scripting out all the details over the past couple months and writing a few pages every so often. More to come. Again, thanks for asking.
