In a twist on my Biz Book Money Quotes series, I'm highlighting one of the most lucid and poignant examples of how to find focus to achieve results that I've ever read.
In Vince Poscente's newest book, THE AGE OF SPEED, he shares a worthwhile story on what tightrope walking can teach us about focus. GOOD STUFF. Enjoy.

Good food for thought indeed (it's lunch time, you know;-) There's also an old adage my mother taught me: when you're in a hurry, slow down. You will actually get there faster if your actions are deliberate and measured.

Thank you for all the good information you always provide. I´m from Spain and sometimes I take some of your ideas for my blog. I hope it was ok for you. As now with 'The Age Of Speed' it would take a little time to have the version in spanish but many people here manage with english and it is interesting knowing about new releases. I love marketing and publicity, specially design, although I´m not working in it today... My blog is on trips and technology, but there is also something on design... If you want to check it, I have a section called 'diseño' about it... and all kind of translators if you need them... Thank you very much again and all my sympathy in these hard days. I really enjoy your slideshow for her. I´m a christian and I know she is with God... Engadi (engadi-traductor.blogspot.com)

Engadi ... first, thanks for your sympathy. I am comforted by faith knowing my Mother is being rewarded for her earthly contributions in Heaven.
Second, I'm glad you found this story from of THE AGE OF SPEED worthwhile.
Thanks for reading the Brand Autopsy blog.
